First round was a screening phone call that lasted 15 minutes and was immediately told that I would move to the next round. Second round was with the primary financial analyst and their boss. The boss left the zoom after 3 minutes saying that they were busy and couldn’t continue the interview. The interview continued with the financial analyst. Was told it would be a little more technical than the screening, however it was strictly technical and questions were asked about previous experience that should have been confidential. Additionally, the interviewer was describing what they were looking for in a candidate, but did not ask any questions pertaining to these skills, which could’ve helped their search. Was told that I was a finalist of 10 candidates and they would reach out regardless if I moved forward or not, however it has been a month and they have not said anything. Best to assume I didn’t move forward, but given that there were only 10 candidates left, a rejection email could have been nice at least.
