      Applied on Sept. 30. HR contact responded on Nov. 27. Interview arranged for Nov. 30. Interview conducted via video. Seemed to go OK, though perhaps not the best. At the end of the call, I asked about the timeline for the next steps. I was told that they would be notifying folks by the middle of next week, then there would be 3 more interview steps. After the interview, I saw an email from this HR person saying, essentially, "the team has decided not to move forward". This email was timestamped during our interview. So .... there was a long delay (IMO) between applying and hearing from HR, and then there was a bit of an impersonal "coldness" to realizing that the HR person sent me a "decided not to move forward" email while we were actually talking.

      Interviewed with Analytica in November 2025 for a role supporting a potential DHS/USCIS contract opportunity. The recruiter was professional and transparent that the position was contingent on contract award rather than an immediately funded opening. The process involved multiple interview rounds plus a personality/cognitive assessment before any award decision had been made. For candidates actively seeking immediate employment, it’s important to clarify whether a role is currently funded, the anticipated hiring timeline, and whether the interview process is tied to a proposal effort or contingent opportunity. I ultimately withdrew from consideration because I decided to focus on active, funded positions with defined timelines.

      They asked a lot about experience supporting federal/government consulting environments and how I would operate in a client-facing role. There were also questions around stakeholder communication, Agile delivery, and navigating complex program environments. Later in the process, they required a personality/cognitive assessment as part of the evaluation.
