Entrevista
I interviewed at Amplify and they seemed incredibly disorganized. A recruiter reached out to say the position I applied for was no longer available, but sent me a link to apply to another they wanted to do an initial interview with me for (yes, I had to do a whole new application). Halfway through the back and forth to schedule the interview time, suddenly a different recruiter started responding to my emails. I was under the impression this was an initial getting to know you interview, but it ended up being a surprise portfolio presentation. I would've prepped for that if I had been told that's what it was. The interviewers also seemed surprised at me being new to the field, even though you can clearly see that from my resume. I ended up getting ghosted afterwards, even after sending a follow up email to check on the status of my candidacy. It was a negative experience overall and I didn't feel like they valued my time as a candidate.

I had a call with the recruiter and then a 60 minute interview with two members of the design team where I had to present a case study for about 20 minutes. Interviewers were kind and interview felt more conversational. After the interview, I never heard back, even after following-up a week later. Although the interview was nice, I found the ghosting incredibly disrespectful.
Interview with three members of the design organization that lasted forty five minutes. There was a rubric of questions and one interviewer was a note taker. The questions were all relevant to the role.
