Initial interview with HR followed by interview with Hiring Manager. 4 additional interviews and a panel interview meeting the entire team followed by a second interview with the hiring manager. A total of 8 interviews. The interviews went well. They said they might or might not do another interview with the Exec Director and will let me know. After two weeks, I kindly emailed HR about an update. A week passed and there was no response so I asked a friend for the hiring manager's email. He did reply to my email saying "Another candidate was selected. Thanks again." It's a competitive job market and companies have options, it's totally ok to not be selected. But I have to say I have never not heard from a company this big after 8 different interviews. All had the decency to reach out via mail or phone call at the very least, let alone HR not replying to emails or sending out automated status update emails. I'm employed at a similar big corp, so I can't even imagine how they would treat any job seekers without jobs. Good luck for anyone out there!
