Initial screening held by a recruiter and 1-2 technical interviews mentioned in introduction as full process. Initial scheduling was very easy and handled by an AI bot providing time efficiency and simplicity in scheduling process.

Applied to an evergreen job ad and heard back about a month later. Had an initial interview with someone from HR who was lovely. She explained that all the steps moving forward would be around 1 week apart, however, it took over 5 weeks for me to hear back, with no updates from Amgen's side. Eventually I was offered a peer interview, and this was fine with expected questions and a nice panel. And then a week later I received a rejection, with the reason given being that my global experience was lacking which didn't make sense when they have just hired a number of people from my previous company with identical experience into the same GTM position. When I queried this, the feedback from the interviewers didn't match the answer I gave in the interview when I was asked about my global experience.
