      Entrevista para Accounting/Administrative

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 5 días. Acudí a una entrevista en American Workforce Group (Puyallup, WA)

      Entrevista

The process began with a job listing on Indeed that failed to mention a staffing company being involved and also being rather brief. I submitted an application and waited to see if anything would come of it. On a later day, I received a call in the middle of the afternoon requesting a preliminary phone interview. I found that odd, but had the time, so agreed. This portion went well, including verifying the information listed for the position, as well as the name of the company I would be working for. It didn't match the company listed on Indeed, but I didn't think much of this until later. I scheduled an in-person 'On-boarding Interview', and was surprised to find out it was at a different location than the job, quite a bit further from me. For a once-off trip, I wasn't too worried about that, but mildly annoyed at the longer drive. The portion that began to bother me was that interview. It wasn't, for one thing. It was me filling out paperwork (95% of which I submitted online beforehand) and telling them in person that yes, I do want to be considered for this job. It was at this point I was told I'd be working for AWG for the first 540 hours of the job, and it was a contract-to-hire position where the other business could hire me at the end of that (no guarantees they will, just a "probably"). The setup for work wasn't really as advertised, but also not a problem on its own, I was mainly annoyed at this point for a long drive for nothing more than what could have been handled on the first phone call and an email exchange for paperwork. The actual problem is the final step. I was told at the interview that they'd submit my resume to the other business in the morning and if I hadn't heard back by that afternoon, to check in. Well, next day comes and I haven't heard anything. I call in twice and get told they're busy and will get back to me, but the third time (just before closing time for the day, I might add) I get a "was just about to call you" and am told that the position has been filled... by someone who applied weeks ago. Now they say they'll take a look at what else might be a good fit. Bait and Switch tactics are not appreciated. You got me to fill out paperwork and assume I'll go along with it because I'm already all set up? I don't think so.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

All they asked was really basic questions about if I could do simple office work: do you have simple computer skills sort of questions.
