Met once with the manager who had a sales opening and was looking for licensed and experienced insurance sales agents. He was new to the job and was really needing someone who could start immediately and I was needing a job because I had just moved back to the area after 6 years. He was a very nice guy and I met him on friday and started to work the very next monday without really thinking through what the job entailed which I regret because after about 8 months of not enjoying the job I resigned

Expectations are layed out clearly from the beginning. You will need to stick it out for at least a year and learn how to be a self-starter. In this interview you will be asked to explain how you plan to create a book of business and what steps to take to be successful.

They do 2 initial phone calls for about 15 minutes. They run through a quick parapgraph about the position and then if interested they move you on to the next person which is a mange or supervisor or some kind.

Fairly straightforward. Simple interview questions for those with sales experience. Having your life insurance license before the interview pushes you through the hiring process. The District manager is a great boss and made the process easy.
