They called me after finding my resume online and did a brief screening before setting up an in person interview. I came in and had to fill out another screening form which was mostly just things from my resume. The actual interview was pretty short, mostly just talking about my background and the interviewer talking about the company. He said they wanted to have me back in a week and that they would call to set something up. I get a call a month later and the woman on the phone starts asking me the same questions as the initial phone screening script. I had to tell them that we were already past this stage and my last contact had been a month ago. A few phone calls later and I had a final round interview set up. My interview was at 10:30 and my interview didn't start until after 11 was consisted of him reading off questions from another questionnaire that I had filled out that day. There were no questions on my experience or behavioral questions dealing with the nature of the work. Every part of the interview was scripted and he got mad when I asked too many questions about the industry and how their organization fit into the market. They're really just looking for someone who can read off a script and sell insurance, anything more than that is surplus to requirements and you're better off finding a more fulfilling job. It seemed like they just needed bodies to go out and sell their insurance. It doesn't matter what your experience is or what skills you have, they'll throw money in your face to make it seem worth your while.
