El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Amazon (Sterling, VA) en nov 2009

Hiring and interview process was pretty good. Amazon.com is very serious about efficiency, customer satisfaction and overall profitability. After about two weeks, at work receiving warehouse tasks. Not a job for slow motion workers. Great management! My only complaint was with some of the staff members of the employment company they use to manage the contract workers (SMX). Some of the SMX staff are horrible, horrible, horrible! A few are absolutely amazing though. If you can get hired by Amazon directly, then I'd recommend them. If you have to go through their employment vendor (SMX) then it's a crap shoot. Be very careful about taking the job. Talk to the workers who come and go outside BEFORE you proceed and ask them what shift they prefer working on, then go for that shift if you can. Pay was about $12 to $15 hr to start, then it goes up if they are impressed with your production numbers.

No interview process, went in and had the job essentially. No dress code just documentation to take to get set up on system. All welcoming and friendly though, very informal
The entire online process feels relentlessly exhausting and painfully tedious. Every step leads to another obstacle, another delay, another unnecessary complication. Instead of progress, it feels like moving through an endless maze of barriers, friction, confusion, and constant interruptions.
Agency, little contact, limited information, told never allowed to say no. Even if they are braking the rules, they dont like people pointing out issues, as because if they record them thats when they can get in trouble for it.
