Interview process in Malaysia is inefficient as it is run from Singapore. Majority of the employees in MY and SG are ex VMware, who are very infrastructure focus which has certain unfair view for person from development background. It is hard to impress them as your development experience & knowledge is not playing major role. Although in my opinion, solutions architect from development background can bring whole new dimension to the team. Expect you to have great depth of AWS knowledge. Infrastructure knowledge that not AWS related don't carry much weight in the interview. I guess it is expected you are going to put into work immediately. Even the title is solutions architect, but it seem more sales focus than actual technology focus.
