One of the worst interview processes i've experienced during my placement process!
Some people finished their final interview rounds in 2hrs, and some had to wait for around 8hrs. This situation was not fair for obvious reason which they never cared about.
Instead of people with knowledge, skill and passion, they preferred and hired people who didn't know much. For example one of the selected guys, was from ece, didn't know how to code and told interviewee that he'll learn it before he joins.

Which language are you Comfortable with?
Why is java more object oriented then C++?
How do you run java garbage collector?
Then he gave me a list of numbers and told me tomake a tree. I asked if he wants a BST.
I made a BST he told me to give a better more efficient variant of it. I made AVL tree.
Then he told me to give another even better option.
I made Red-black tree.

The interview process consisted of one behaviour and then one technical. Leetcode style questions. Object oriented programming questions. The more questions you answer the harder the follow up questions get.
Iterview with HR:
They check if you are a good fit for company values
Direct management:
Again check if fits with team culture and technical and academic background and experience
Technical interview:
some that i've seen includes system design, theoretical knowledge on software dev like concepts of o.o.p.
for programing usually check if a given code works why it works and why its failing also check for errors in syntax and semantics
