My interview with Altimetric lasted for almost a month. Initially, there were 2 rounds of technical discussion. I received a congratulatory email after the 2nd round of interview and HR asked me to submit all the necessary documents. I thought the next process would be offer release but HR told me that there would be another round of technical discussion. I have cleared the 3rd round as well. Again I thought they would release the offer but HR told me that there will be 2more rounds of Technical discussion with the client and I was asked to visit their office. I walked into the client's office where I cleared the first round and in the 2nd round interviewer asked me to write code which also I have done for the given scenario. He said HR will get back to me. After 3 days HR sent me an email that the technical recruiter was looking for more knowledge in React and so they were not considering my profile. Altimetric might be one of the meta company that many of us doesn't know. If I have cleared that 5th round then definitely Altimetric would schedule the next 3 or 4 more rounds to make me tired and run out of the process.

Initial screening with HR after that two technical discussion. In second round that not accepting our answer he is arguing. Ex in React to prevent API calls when user clicks multiple times on same button, i given answer like by updating state with disabled value until we receive response from API. But he does not accept. His answer was by using shouldComponetUpdate method we can achieve this requirement. I cant understand this approach. Because this method will trigger only when we make any state update.
