Phone interview. This involved talking about me, my experience, the group and some organic chemistry questions. Heard back 3 weeks later. Had F2F interview over the internet. This involved a 20 min presentation of my up to date research. Did a series of organic problem solving questions. Recieved a phone call a few weeks later and was offered a position.

Sent in CV with cover letter to see if you get short listed, initial phone interview is arranged with a member from the lab with an interview in person if you pass the first stage.
