L1 [2 Hours] - All concepts of Core Java, Springboot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, AWS, Azure DevOps CI/CD and Spring Native APIs. Even there was code to be written for Java programs, Also end to end REST API with all the key features. L2 - Asked about project and questions on the same. A puzzle as well which was used to judge my thinking and quick response ability. L2 Repeat- Apache Kafka in detail - Topics, partitions, consumer groups, DBZeium connector, KStream APIs, Error Handling, Avro Schemas, Future objects, Acknowledgements, Commit, Replicas Manager Round - Few managerial questions, Reasons behind my switches, Manager also explained me pretty clearly the Roles and responsibilities and the project that I am going to be part of. 2 Technical questions as well [ Sheduler Replication in Multiple Instances of a Microservice and Kafka Related] HR Round - The HR person seemed less interested in me as he was not happy with my salary ask. He asked few random questions and said the team will get back to you. Conclusion: If you already know that you dont have the required budget why are you wasting own and Candidate time? 1 Month of time and 5 -6 rounds of interview for what? To be rejected in 10mins as there are budget constrains? Was the budget not known before the position was opened? Completely saddened by this incident as there were hopes of working with a good company but not to be! I see it as a mutual loss as the Company too lost a resource who was immediate joiner and active contributer on latest Tech.
