I applied for the job in August on LinkedIn, had my first (of four) phone interviews in October (the last phone interview was in December). I went in for an in-person interview in November. That interview lasted nearly two hours. It seemed like a pretty standard interview for a content marketing position. Everything seemed like it went very well. Everyone was friendly and we had good conversations. I sent thank you notes; I followed up via email and even attempted to call the corporate recruiter at the number I had. In December, they said they'd be making a decision by end of year. In January, they said they were going to be making their decision very soon. In February, I sent a couple more follow-ups to see how it was progressing.
Six months have passed and I still haven't heard back from anyone either way (obviously, I didn't get it -- but it would be nice to have been told at some point, because after nearly 10 hours of interviewing I was feeling pretty confident and had put the search on hold while I waited through the first few weeks of January).
