I received and offer to interview very soon after applying. The interview was with a director and associate director who were both very warm and welcoming. The interview consisted of some simple questions and going through my extended portfolio. The questions were a mixture of standard HR questions, and a few more personal ones such as ranking your software skills from 1-5 and talking about which how much of their work I knew. The interview was then followed by a tour of the office. The entire interview lasted aboht 1hr 15mins.

Short, was their last interview that week hence, they didn't seem interested. I was an inconvenience to their lunch. I asked them what does a Part 1 do at the firm and the partner and the director interviewing didn't know the answer. Didn't even show me round the office. Good interview practice though. Makes you reconsider working at a large corporate firm. Least engaging interview I've been too, advice for part 1s you'll know its the right place when you get that buzz...
