Got the 1st interview with the hiring manager and she was very rude. She just wanted to hear what she wanted to hear and didn’t pay attention to what i said. And seems a bit cut throat too. After a few questions she suddenly listed a bunch of things that were NOT required on the job description and said they are looking for those skills which she doesn’t think I have!? The interview was very transactional and stressful. She looks impatient hearing my answers. One question i was asked to talk about my weakness and i said that i tend to speak fast when am nervous. And toward the end she said: “You said that you talk a lot when you’re nervous”. Clearly didn’t pay attention to my answer and not even clarify. There were only 2 rounds and i was already interviewed for first round so not many candidates left to shortlist for the 2nd one but they still ghosted me and didn’t get back to my follow up. Lucky i didn’t get the offer or else i wouldn’t want to work with people like this. Tell a lot about the company culture.
