HR approached me through NaukriGulf website; however I did apply for the position over email as well. 3-Step process: 1. Initial chat with HR to discuss expectations and profile. 2. Secondary chat with Head of Investments which was cordial and discussed in length about the resume/projects. Followed by 2 case studies which included a report/PPT and Financial Model to be delivered within 1 week. 3. Final chat with the owning family/Investment Director. General Q&A. I felt the HR person wanted to give a low-ball offer, and kept asking me whether the salary was negotiable when I made it clear from day 1 of my expectations. And then after the 3rd interview, there was simply no response at all. Quite unprofessional.
