I was reached out to by a recruiter, and initially the job sounded very very interesting and I showed a lot of enthusiasm to get started with the interview process. However from the get-go the company really didn't show any interest in my candidacy despite them reaching out to me first after I got started with the process.
Overall the attorneys I interviewed with didn't seem very interested in getting to know my experience or asking me questions and instead did a lot of talking generally and not getting into the specifics of the job itself, and they didn't seem all that passionate about the job either. The recruiter was also not good at communicating with me and maintaining contact.
Overall this went from a very positive to a very negative experience quickly and it doesn't speak well for what it's like to actually work within the company. I assume that if this is what the interview process is like, then working there probably isn't much better and gives a not great image of the department.
I'd advise that if the company's recruiters are going to reach out to attorneys, to not immediately drop them the moment they get started with the process.
To any attorneys considering working here, I'd keep your options open because the group seems internally chaotic and like they don't really foster people, which isn't a place I'd be interested in working at.
