Initial recruiter call followed by a take-home assignment. I had breezed through the take-home assignment(in 3 days) and was invited for a virtual onsite. To begin with, their product was overwhelming to understand, however, they have decent documentation on their website. They have smart engineers(ex-Facebook, Google, etc) and were straight to the point when interviewing me - no tell me about yourself, they were very busy or at least seemed like that.
The onsite interview consisted of 4 different rounds with 4 engineers and a director.

4) final round with 1 mid-level engineer and a lead engineer
The first two rounds were fairly okay. The final two were where things started to get really weird. One engineer told me that it was his first time interviewing SDETs and said his partner was an SDET at google and that her role was canceled?? I get it that at big companies like Google, Facebook roles like SDETs don't exist but please remember that
1) you are not FANG 2) why bother interviewing for this role
Made it very awkward for me, and in the last round, there was an engineer and a lead engineer. The lead turned up for the last 5mins of the interview, very unprofessional, and looked totally disinterested in the interview.

I believe company doesn't have good skilled employees who can take interviews and so they rely on take home assignment.
Their take home assignment is a complete fraud.
It involves at least 2-3days of sincere amount of time to finish the assignment. After which recruiter simply emails 'they are moving forward with other candidates' but does not share any feedback.
They don't respect candidate's time and effort.
1. Recruiter reached out via email
2. Recruiter calls for 45 min (super waste of time).
3. Gives a take home assignment on Cypress test automation.

Similar to what others have posted so not repeating here. Based on those who have left reviews about interviews, very few candidates actually received offers, so either they are very picky or not really hiring. I believe the latter is more likely. And had I read the "Excellent product and wonderful colleagues, but negative internal culture" negative review earlier, I would not have continued with the interviews and worked on the homework assignments. I wasted so much time! Don't even bother applying here!
