All of my communication was through the hiring coordinator. I came in wearing business casual and was looked up and down by all the employees and they made me extremely uncomfortable. Kind of like a new kid at a school full of cliques. I was taken into a room to take a competency exam that was extremely easy and was told I would interview with one person, then after that interview they brought it two other people one after the other (I think they don’t tell you to catch you off guard). I thought my interviews went well but knew in the back of my mind that the place wouldn’t be for me. Gave me bad vibes and the people who interviewed me made me feel like I was taking valuable time out of their day that they would never get back. Why would I want to work for someone who can’t even treat me somewhat decent during an interview? One of the interviewers tried to intimidate me but I could tell he was much more intimidated by me than I was of him. Overall, weird experience. I was hired somewhere else before they even got back to me. The hiring coordinator was very nice though!

Three round interview. Everything went well they made it seem like I had a job and then told me that I wasn’t moving forward. I believe they’re racist. I’m African-American and all the people that I interviewed with were Caucasian. There was nothing wrong with my résumé. I had years of experience with a top forwarder, both internationally and domestic, so there was no reason why I wasn’t chosen, especially after getting positive feedback for the interviews. Maybe they will get some diversity in the company besides women I hate that I even said all those things to them about how empowering it was to see women in high places, but obviously they really don’t care.
