The recruiter was great and asked thoughtful questions. Little did I know that I would have to meet with five more people before a decision would be made (manager, team member, CFO, COO, in-person lunch). At one point the recruiter told me a decision would be made that day and I would know the following day. The next day arrived and I learned the COO wanted to meet instead. Although really nice, the executives were both late and complained about how busy they were. I was really confused why I had to meet with either of them at all. It seems they want their hands in everything and don't trust their managers to make hiring decisions. This makes me wonder what other decisions have to go through multiple layers before something is allowed to be done in the company? The whole process took 6 weeks.
