Interview lasted 15 minutes wherein I learned that they are part of the funding arm of the LDS. They wanted my experience but tried to make up being $40k under market rate by touting their 401(k), health insurance, and vacation (which I already have) as the reason why it was okay that we were so far apart on base. When I said I wouldn't be continuing the process I was told about corportate house and how wonderful it would be to live there and that it was worth it. The recruiter would not take no for an answer and I ended up having to hang up on him. Just because it's "for your god" doesn't mean I'm going to take a pay cut of that magnitude.
