The recruiter immediately shortlisted me, but went on with very condescending tones during the interview. I was a consultant for years so naturally we have shorter term contracts and higher pay in Asia-Pacific. This has been how I worked in the industry for 15 years, I leveled my paycheck to be in the top 10% of my peers and banked on my International experience, references from CEOs, high-profile CTOs, etc.
He particularly noted in very specific words that I stayed too short. Sarcastic HR does not understand the industry of consulting. We work remotely and give up that dream of staying for a decade in the company. The role he was hiring for was NOT for a decade and quite certain NOT even for 4 years. I stayed as a lead for multiple years for some companies.
Overall, STAY AWAY from lousy HR. They cannot afford your rate. Work for U.K-based companies, Australians, etc.

Just classic leetcode interview like you would do years ago interviewrs are nice but the interview process is outdated. After the leetcode you get a generic software discussion interview but with no mantion of ai or anything like that at all.

2 round 1st is DSA one easy and one medium problem followed by hiring manager round where project discussion is going on where deep dive into the projects focus is majorly on the architecture
In interviews, generic logic questions test clear thinking, assumptions, and reasoning under pressure, not factual knowledge. Interviewers want to see how candidates approach problems and explain conclusions calmly and logically.
