Found the opportunity through an executive recruiter. Small private held but growing and profitable company. One day of interviews with a Board member, son of the founder/Chairman, CEO, and head of HR. Good people overall, but it seemed that the 'family' had a big say in what goes on, even though they don't have 'day to day' responsibilities. The CEO did a good job of filtering the crap that came down from above, but was not sure that that would be sustainable. I did enjoy the process though and was disappointed to hear that I was looked over for other candidates but it all worked out for me in the end.
