      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Aegis (Petaling Jaya) en nov 2016

      Entrevista

      Applied for the job via Jobstreet.com, after which I got a call from Janice, the recruiting manager. Intially opting for an offer in IT-related job, I was later assigned to Abbott Malaysia. Reasons are explained in point 2. 1. Pre-assessment a) English and Maths test, all MCQ b) Typing test, where I am given a passage and required to type as much of it in 2 minutes. Minimum speed is approx. 25wpm and accuracy of 85%. c) Technical Questions provided by StarHub Singapore. MCQ consisting on computer-related questions. 2. First interview was with Janice. She did a background check and marked my assessments on the spot. She told me that I didn't fare well in the Technical Questions. Realising that I don't have a solid foundation in IT, but having taken Chemistry and Physics in A-Levels, she recommended me to a position in Abbott, which incidentally had open positions. Janice later briefed me about the job requirements and salary. Then she brought me to the Abbott call centre a few floors up the lobby for the interview 3. Next interview was with Hui Ting, the team leader at Abbott. She asked me about myself and gave me a sample script, in which we did a role-playing session together. I was to call the 'customer' and gather feedback about one of the products she recently bought to treat diabetes. The script also included nutrition advice to the 'customer'. Once that was done I left the building, waiting for the results of the interview. I passed the interview and I was finally hired three weeks later.

      A sample conversation between CSO and customer, whereby CSO calls customer to do feedback regarding a product she recently bought, as well as giving nutrition advice. Role-playing session, to test for proficiency in language and conversational skills.
