El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Aecon (Lynnwood, WA) en jun 2012
Entrevista
I applied through the university I study in. They contacted after 3 days confirming they received my application. After 2 week I got email saying my resume is still under review and they will contact me within 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks a senior manager called me and invited to his office for interview.
On the interview there were 2 senior managers including the one who called me. The next day after the interview they called me and offered the position.

Would you prefer to have
1) a task with given "step-by-step" completion recommendations
or
2) just an overall goal that you have to accomplish, and if you stay within the area of allowed actions - you are good, so you can decide in which way you are going to accomplish the goal.
Felt like the interviewer did not prepare to ask me any questions about myself? It's like I had to come up with things to say and asking them questions about Aecon rather than them taking an active interest in my experiences at all.
It is just a simple getting to know you before actual interview. It is a pre screening that is only 15 minutes. Stuff like describe who you are and why you are interested.
It is just an HR call, but it's great to learn about the company, safety standards, staff, and management. It's not as difficult an interview as I expected. It is a top-notch company in infrastructure development. So, if you get a call for an interview you must attend.
