      Entrevista

      The process is broken down into 5 steps: 1/ Recruiter Screening; 2/ Interview with peers; 3/ Business Case; 4/ Interview with Country Manager; 5/ Interview with someone from the board. The first 2 steps went very smooth - the recruiter was really nice and speedy, and the interview with peers felt more like a nice chat. The business case was terrible - it was broken down into 3 scenarios and it required deep understanding of their product and the payment scene. I took me 5 full days to prepare for it (had to take time off from work). The presentation was in-person with the hiring manager, and it felt completely different from the other 2 previous stages. They didn't even pay attention to my presentation, made questions completely unrelated to it, acted snobby, and seemed not to know how to handle an in-person meeting. I felt very uncomfortable and left knowing I wouldn't get to the next stage simply because of the way they acted. I then received the rejection feedback which contained things that weren't true (feel like they just copied and pasted it from someone else). Was very disappointed as I was truly interested in the company, but it seems like I wouldn't want to work for those sales managers anyway...

      I was contacted by two different recruiters regarding two positions I had applied for, and unfortunately neither experience was positive. For the first recruiter screening, the recruiter joined the Zoom call a few minutes late and seemed disengaged throughout the conversation. Most of the questions were very basic, there were no meaningful follow-up questions, and it didn't feel like my responses were being actively listened to. The interview ended about 10 minutes earlier than scheduled. The second experience was more frustrating. The recruiter did not show up for our scheduled screening call and emailed me about 20 minutes after the start time to say that her previous meeting had run over. We agreed to reschedule to next day and she confirmed the time with me. But on the day of interview, she sent a calendar invite for a different time without first checking my availability. I understand that schedules can change and unexpected conflicts happen. However, after multiple issues with communication and scheduling, I felt the process was disrespectful of candidates' time. As a result, I chose to decline the invite. Based on my experience, Adyen may want to invest more attention in recruiter communication, candidate engagement, and professionalism during the early stages of the hiring process.

      Clear and good process, knew what to expect. Process stated like on the website. Friendly contact with recruiter, but could've been a bit more responsive. Was nice getting to know the colleagues/team so fast.
