I cleared the first two rounds easily. In the third round, the interviewer looked happy with my responses, however, she ended the interview in 15 minutes. I received a rejection email stating my application does not match what they are searching for. I was quite surprised as it took them three rounds to realize this. Therefore, I asked for detailed feedback and connected with the recruiter on Zoom. The feedback shared was vague. First, the recruiter told me that my last interviewer had rejected me as she found my answer to be standardized when asked about what do I know about Adyen. She said that everything I mentioned was available on their website. Not sure what exactly she wanted to hear. Second, she found me competitive and not for the team. This makes no sense because I'm acting as a Team Lead in my current job. Third, she didn't find my overall experience relevant to what they were searching for. To put things into perspective, they are hiring for a Junior AML Investigator role and I have around two years experience in AML at a global bank but apparently I'm not the right candidate even though I cleared their skills round.
