In this situation, I was approached by a recruiter who was hired directly by the firm. The interview consisted of several calls and several in-person meetings with multiple team members over a period of about 30 days. It was a difficult position to fill as the firm was looking for an executive-level "jack of all trades" with big brand experience in both marketing and production. They were also looking for someone to simultaneously bring in new business. After learning a great deal about the firm, it wasn't the right fit for either of us. And I'm not sure if the position was ever filled.
