The most disrespectful interview process I've had.
After the screening, when the recruiter first asked for my availability to schedule the call with the recruiter, she sent a calendar block for 2 business days later. I replied with my availability, which doesn't include the time slot she sent. And she didn't reply to me until the very morning of the time slot, was surprised that the slot doesn't work for me, and rescheduled the interview to one day later. It's an interview with a take-home case. That should be the first red flag.
Then I went ahead to meet the hiring manager, who was 26 MINUTES LATE to the meeting, without any communication before he showed up. He didn't even seem very apologetic, just said oh last meeting ran over. THE WHOLE INTERVIEW, HE DIDN'T TURN ON HIS CAMERA. FOR 50 MINUTES. NO EXPLANATION even provided.
Fine, I need a job. I put up with the bs and went through it with a fake smile. Went into the next round, which was 3 back to back interviews and went fine.
Two days after the interview, I followed-up and received a rejection, which was fine. Then I asked for feedback and was ghosted. I followed up and received another super disrespectful email. Totally dismissive of my request. I'll paste it below.
Hi XXX,
Happy Friday!
A quick follow-up - wondering if there's any chance that some feedback could be provided. I spent considerable time and effort preparing for the case and interviews as I was enthusiastic about the role. I understand that things didn't work out this time, but I'm eager to learn from this experience and improve my skills for future opportunities. Once again I want to thank you for the opportunity to interview and chat with Adobe folks, and I would appreciate it if there's any feedback that can help me grow.
Best,
XX
