The interview process initially seemed very promising. During the HR discussion, the role, expectations, and offered opportunities were communicated clearly. I had also shared my long-term ambitions around leadership and team management, and was encouraged to showcase those qualities during the interviews.
I was informed that the process would involve four technical rounds, which set the expectation of a detailed and transparent evaluation process. The first interview with the Senior Manager appeared to go quite positively, both from the nature of the discussion and the overall interaction during the call.
However, after two days, I received a rejection email without any feedback or explanation. I followed up multiple times with the HR team requesting interview feedback purely for learning and improvement purposes, but unfortunately never received a response.
My only feedback to the recruiting team would be this: if professionalism is expected from candidates throughout the process, the same level of professionalism, transparency, and communication should also be reflected from the recruitment side. If you ghost someone, don’t feel betrayed when the same happens to you — professionalism and respect should always go both ways.
