I was very skeptical about this company until I saw firsthand how their CEO thinks and articulate his reasoning. Their expectations for the role was at the level of a senior designer for Apple Inc. which meant someone who is very literate in mass production for electronics. At the same time has a very strong background in mechanical engineering and at the same time is very creative and delivers. That’s why the candidate before me bailed on them because obviously he found a much better prospect with that level of requirement. Found the people in the company very genuine. They have a weird mix of recent phds in R&D and manufacturing engineers with decades of experience. There’s a huge gap in the organization in terms of common engineering language. The CEO is obviously fond of micro managing and has weird inputs. Pretty much all of the future business prospect depends on India. Was not offered the job at the last later which did not make me sad since I had other job offers.
