Online testing - first round. Easy files. Was dumbfounded when I got a mail saying that I did not clear it. First time in my 10-year career as an MT/proofer I failed such an easy test (considering the passing score is just 92%...I have never scored that low in ANY file in my career) !! Seems like one of the 2 reasons - either they have no clue what they testing on, or that's their way of saying there is "no vacancy." It would have been honorable for them to not hold any testing at all if there were no vacancies. Clearly they are trying to intimidate candidates. It is a well known fact in the industry that the average quality of work is just that...AVERAGE. So, I am totally unimpressed with this kind of intimidation.
