      Entrevista

      My initial round of interviews with the teammates was nice, discussing my background and why I want to be a part of the team even though my area of focus is different. They were satisfied with my projects and the demo I showed. Then I was scheduled for a technical interview which I felt was a little bit unstructured in regards to the time allotted to it. 45 minutes to talk through a bunch of scenarios and then finally attempting to live coding questions in all was quite tedious, the time allotted was quite less. I think it is unfair from a candidate's point of view and working under pressure is never easy when you know they are watching your every move. Though the interviewers were nice and supportive they should understand this might not be an ideal way to hire talented applicants. Finally, as a candidate, the waiting time to hear back was highly inconvenient. I was supposed to hear back in a week. But they took more than 3 weeks to give a decision. And whenever asked for an update I received the same automated emails even though my doubt was something else they were not answered accordingly. In the end, I just want to say that even though I couldn't perform well in the technical assessment, Acumen has lost a great talent like me because I definitely know so much more and their standardized tests failed to recognize it.
