      Entrevista

The first interview was a brief 30 minute interview with the director of the office to get a feel for your personality and background. If invited back to the second round, a corporate trainer will sit down with you and dive further into your background/ask questions and explain more about the company structure and compensation. If they like you enough at this point, you will return for a third round confirmation interview back with the director of the office.

      Entrevista

Went to my 1st interview for the position I listed and they asked me about my experience in management and then went on to talk me up and tell me they thought I was a good fit for a management role or even “upper-level” management. Then they congratulated me on making it to the second round (like it was a big deal), when really there is no need for the “congrats” because everyone pretty much makes it to the second round if you sound like you even want the job a little bit. So, of course after they talked me up and made me feel like I was a good fit, I was excited and came back for the second interview. The second interview they introduce you to someone that is basically soon to be your co-worked but one position “higher” than you will starting off at. They explain your position in the company by telling you that you start at the bottom and work your way up which really means selling Direct TV services and AT&T Fiber through your “local” Sams Club or Costco and they pay you $10 an hr plus commission based off how many Direct TV and AT&T packages you sell. SO, if that’s not a big enough sign to walk away right then and there like I did.. then I’m not sure what is. This is a pyramid scheme, they are using recent graduates to their advantage and making them do the grunt work. They make you believe you will some day make a 6 figure salary when more than likely they will under-pay and mistreat you majoring of your career until you decide you deserve better and move on like more than half their reviews say they do. Believe me when I say that you are worth more than this company says you are and please don’t waste your time working for people that think you’re only worth $10 an hr. This is pure capitalism and it’s embarrassing.

Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you for your feedback. We regret to hear you found nothing positive about your interview experience with us at Acquire. Everyone at Acquire, regardless of seniority, is required to work all sides of our business. This includes sales and marketing. “Starting from the bottom and working your way up” ensures everyone retains thorough knowledge of the market, clientele, and our clients’ products and services. Our CEO can speak on behalf of his personal experience in working at every level of our business, which has proven to be effective and inspiring for a majority of our employees. With that said, we realize what motivates and excites one may not do the same for another. As you described, our pay structure is based on an uncapped earning level backed by a guaranteed hourly base. By offering commission, we ultimately allow our employees to earn as much as they desire. The hourly wage amount you mentioned is, of course, a starting rate. There is significant room for growth within our company. With growth comes pay raises and fortunately, rapid growth within our company is not uncommon! We understand the positions in which we fill are not typical office jobs. However, the basic composition of our business is no different than other companies with a CEO who has an operations manager to oversee and manage employees as well as the daily functionality of the company. Acquire was built on a foundation of positive, team culture so claiming we mistreat our employees is a far - and we emphasize “far”- stretch from reality. We see you declined our job offer, which poses the question - how could one accurately speak on the matter without ever being employed here? Above all, we value our entire staff and have jumped through hoops for many of them on numerous occasions so you must understand that we do not take the accusation lightly. Again, we thank you for your review and would like to apologize for anything that may have occurred during your interview that gave you such a poor outlook on our company. We truly wish you the very best. Kind Regards, Acquire Human Resources Dept.
