They moved quite quickly and there wasn't too many steps. After some role play, I met some senior stakeholders within the business that asked me questions about my experience, told me what the role would be like and then that was it.

Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Acoustic (Washington, DC) en mar 2026
Entrevista
The process was quick, and easy. I did not apply to this company, they contacted me. I had an initial interview with the recruiter, then both east coast and west coast sales directors. Despite both the west coast director & recruiter having seen my resume, and the recruiter having seen my resume AND had a initial conversation with me, they both somehow missed that I did not have account management experience. I had a terrible encounter unfortunately with the sales director stating that she, "did not have time to teach me or hold my hand" regarding learning account management, so she was going to decline. Not only her stating that was terrible, but while I was answering one of the questions they asked, she messaged the other director on the call. I took time out to meet with them while on vacation with my child, and they couldn't even wait until our interview was completed to message each other. Shows a complete lack of consideration for my time, and lack of respect.
Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Acoustic
Entrevista
I applied to Acoustic in late July and had an initial interview with them at the beginning of August. Despite poor Glassdoor reviews, I pushed forward because I felt like I was well qualified for the role. The process was dragged out over the entire month of August even though it only consisted of four total interviews. I had to follow up multiple times to schedule interviews, and generally got the feeling they weren't actually looking to bring anyone on in the timeline they had initally told me. I was asked to give a sales presentation (I had worked at a competitor) and one of the interviewers had me waste a bunch of time explaining competitive features, then admitted that he was just curious about how the competitor does it.
When I asked for feedback following the sales presentation, I was provided with cookie cutter answers. I asked for more specific feedback and was sent the most generic email possible in response (probably ChatGPT). The effort I put forth during the sales process was not reciprocated. I saw a number of red flags throughout the process, and I would highly recommend doing your due diligence before bothering to interview here.
