I got a call from the HR saying that my interview is scheduled on so and so date in Accenture Mumbai (Vikroli Office). Before going to the interview I uploaded all the documents that they needed, on to their portal. The interview was scheduled for 10.00 AM, I reached the venue by sharp 9.50 AM, they made me wait for 4.5 hrs for the interview, the interview was conducted by 2.30 PM via video call. The interview went well, I answered mostly all the question asked, the questions were on Angular, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, CSS ,some logic solving exercise and questions on Software Development Cycle. I cleared the technical rounds, next was the HR round. For the HR round I again had to wait for 3 hrs to 3.5 hrs, the HR called me on my mobile and asked me about all the necessary and required documents, salary negotiation, notice period, etc, after the HR round I was told that I could leave for the day and to upload the remaining document mentioned by the HR, which I uploaded the day after. After clearing all the rounds, out of no were after 2 days I get a message on their portal saying "We regret to inform you that we do not have a suitable opening in the organization that is commensurate with your background/skills and experience. We hope to reconsider your profile when there is a new suitable opening". After waiting patiently for hrs and wasting over 10 hours of my time this is what I get. The management in Accenture is really poor.This not only happened to me but some other candidates as well. If there was no opening why did they schedule the interview in the first place and wasted whole day conducting it. Accenture should value the time of the candidate and improve their management. A candidate might have other priorities, but he/she spent a whole day clearing the interview and then getting such kind of message.
