Interview process was expedited due to the fact that they needed to find a senior & talented resource to be available immediately. From start to finish 5 rounds of interviews got over within 10 days. Initial round was a screening round with the recruited. He/she will be in touch throughout this whole process. After that I had 2 rounds of technical interview. One was over phone and the other was in person with a senior member. Both touched a lot about my resume, my projects, etc. They do drill deeper. Also depending on which level you apply for, the answer should be presented in that level appropriately. Next I had a situational interview over phone. This covered 4 to 5 situations that I had dealt in the past. How did I solve them.. What did I learn.. This was a cake walk, provided you are able to concrete real life scenarios :) It's ok if you had not faced a situation that is being presented.. They would change to another situation. The final round was with a Managing Director via phone. I wouldn't exactly say this was a pure technical (or) situational evaluation. It was a mix of both. The person who is talking to you had already gotten the feedback from the previous rounds. I would say this round is more of making sure that you are a summation of all those feedbacks put together. The 2nd half of the interview was more like a discussion on what the role is, what the project is about, what they are looking for, potentially where the project is, etc. In my case, since they already knew where I was going to be placed, they even gave me the city to which I will travel. Once you have cleared all these rounds, it comes down to pay negotiation and initiating the BG check.
