I applied here for a warehouse specialist position, I have 16 years experience in the field, management and lead experience. I submitted my application and received noticed that there were a few errors on it. I called their HR department to clear up any issues and the conversation was very unprofessional. The women on the phone explained to me that there were some spacing, spelling and grammar errors on my application to which I apologized and take criticism well. I am not the best writer I know that, my skills are in other areas. But what came next I felt was uncalled for, she advice that I take my resume to a professional who knows how to write, informed me that multiple people viewed my resume and were shock at how bad it was, and asked if this was my first time writing a resume. I am 40 years old and that was unbelievable to hear. so much that I tried to call her back was she was not taking my phone call and put me straight to voice mail so I called another line and removed my application. If this is how they treat new applicants that I can't imagine how they treat others there. I have not received an apology from this woman and I'm sure I won't. I went back to my resume and only found 3 mistakes of misspelling and my format did seem a bit outdated but other than that my list of quallitys far exceeded need for this job and i clearly had more talent in speaking to other human being than this person who spoke to me. I urge others to not bother with such sorts of people who have little empathy for those just looking for work and are there to make others feel stupid. I prey she learns humility and becomes a better Human Resources rep. I will never be applying here again.
