I submitted by resume to Academy Mortgage and talked by email and phone with the person that would be my direct report. We scheduled an in person interview at the Scottsdale location. I talked with my future direct report and the branch sales manager that I would potentially be supporting. That went well, talked about systems, Academy, my experience and work ethic, some personal fun facts, process flow, what I could bring to the table at Academy. After the interview I was offered a position. We talked compensation and in the end I accepted the position.
