Entrevista
I interviewed for the Associate Software Developer in Test co-op role and had a very disappointing experience. While most of the team, including HR, treated me with respect and professionalism, one interviewer - Kelvin Lai, a senior QA engineer stood out for all the wrong reasons.
His attitude throughout the technical interview was unnecessarily harsh and dismissive. Even when I provided correct and thoughtful answers, his feedback was nitpicky and aimed more at undermining than evaluating. At one point during the coding portion, he made a completely unprofessional comment: “I have OCD, so do it nicely.” This was not only inappropriate but also reflected a lack of respect for candidates and the seriousness of the interview process.
It was clear he had no intention of giving me a fair chance. When someone actively looks for faults rather than evaluating skill or potential, it damages the integrity of the interview process.
Absolute Software as a company might have a good culture, many team members seemed encouraging but as long as individuals like this are leading interviews, strong candidates may be overlooked not for lack of skill, but because of ego and attitude issues on the panel.
If you’re considering applying, be aware that professionalism is not guaranteed across the board.

Pregunta 1
Is it okay for you, if I (interviewer) has an OCD?
Started with a call with the recruiter. Then had a second round where I met people from different product teams. Easy going interview with behavioral and technical portions. For technical portion had one easy level leetcode question and a couple brain teaser questions.
