It was a intensive process. It consisted of 4 major parts: a short interview, followed by a technical skills audit, then an interview with 10/15 minute presentation and finally a multiple choice technical questionairre. Having looked at a previous review of the process, it seems Ability Net have improved their transparency about the process, as I was provided with the interview questions and presentation topics beforehand which is very generous for them to offer as standard rather than a reasonable adjustment. There were tech issues with getting some of the links etc. to me in time but they were very accomodating when that happened. I am glad to have been offered a role with the company, but slightly confused about their rating system. I scored quite modestly across the stages, but they were happy to take me on board. In further interests of transparency, and in order to help interviewees prioritise during this long process, I would suggest it would be helpful if the recruiters could say how much each step would be weighted beforehand, and/or the points rate needed to pass each stage.
