So I applied a few weeks before the Dark Knight rises was supposed to come out and recieved a call from them two days later. A phone interview was conducted just asking about my schedule and telling me that visible tattoos and piercings were not ok. The lady then invited me to a group interview scheduled two days later on a tuesday. I was only expecting around five people but when I had got there I went to the lobby and there were probably 24 people there. This will make you panic! Relax! I talked to some of the other applicants to help relax and pull it together. After around 20 mininutes of waiting in the lobby (I do not reccommend ladies wear heels for this interview) a supervisor introduced himself and led the pack to a room in the upper level of the theater. The chairs all had nametags on them and I went to my chair and slapped on my nametag. There was a general manager and a supervisor in training interviewing us. They introduced themselves and the show began by having everyone one at a time introduce themselves and say where they went to school and what they were majoring in.This is your chance to shine! Depending on what you say the interviewers may ask you a question which is a good sign since it shows they are taking an interest in you. I said that my major was pet science and they asked what my favorite pet was. I stated the truth-cats and tarantulas.I made my love of such a hated creature a positive in this interview because i said that I felt someone needed to love them and I was it.This made me stick out in a sea of eager applicants. After we all introduced ourselves we were asked why we wanted to work for the theater. Some people said generic things for a theater such as "I love movies". This will get you nowhere in a group of over twenty people all saying different variations of loving movies. I said I just wanted to make people smile while working for AMC. Sounds lame but when you're in a customer service/entertainment industry job interview its great.Particularly when the company's motto is about smiling.They then asked about times when we had good and bad customer service and how we felt about it. You had the option whether or not you wanted to answer that. It was volunteering stories. For once I kept my mouth shut. I listened. After that was eliminations. This is a game of film crew survivor. It was simply if you shined you made it to the next round. Twelve people had been asked to stay out of twenty-four. This interview had just become brutal. The next round was role playing. You had to pretend to help a complaining customer or try to sell the AMC stubs card. If you played the angry/frugal customer you picked your situation out of a bowl filled with papers. Be prepared to deal with leaking water in rest rooms, stale popcorn, sticky floors, green screens, rowdy movie-goers and people who did not recieve the correct change. And for the love of having a paycheck do not offer free movies or concessions to please the "customer". This will not make your interviewers happy. It will only concern them.* Then you had to sell stubs cards to a variety of people in different situations. Be prepared for sports teams, couples, teens, frequent and modest movie-goers. Sell, Sell, Sell! *When acting really ham it up. I played like a real angry customer and made the room laugh. It may not be professional but you still need to stand out in front of twelve other applicants. Eliminations round 2: Six applicants asked to leave. The remaining six got a one on one interview. The one on one was so easy. The most difficult question was how I would handle rowdy children at a premiere. You also still had to explain how you would approach selling a stubs card.They said they would call me back by 10 that night. Unfortunately they did not. I followed up and was told that they had "gone a different direction". My theory as to why I was not hired was because I was not eighteen at the time and they needed people to run the midnight show of the dark knight rises. Unfortunately it was against the law for me to work those hours.

Very chill, i wanted a part time job in high school The manager was cool and was personable to talk to. They just asked to sell stubs pamphlets ( I think the program is different now).
