I was initially headhunted via LinkedIn fairly early in my job hunting process. I was then called to give a short explanation of who I was and what I was looking for. A meeting was then booked for me to come to their office and meet with a recruitment chief. I was then invited to a 2nd in person interview where I was offered the job on the spot.
My main gripe about the entire process was that I felt as if they were sort of preying on new grads who are easily impressed by salary that is large in comparison with our student grants. I was approached earlier than any other company and in my opinion, they knew they had the upper hand at pushing for a very low starting salary with very standard work benefits. Lastly, after a long spiel about how much money I could be earning in 3 years, I was already asked to accept the job on the spot. I asked for time to consider and the recruiter was taken aback, as he claimed they usually expected a yes or no. This point led to me declining the offer as I did not feel comfortable during the interview process at all.
