I got setup with a 30 minute phone interview. They seemed to really like me and were also very understanding of recent graduates, which I very much appreciated.
Eventually they called to discuss the company further and setup an in-person interview. They claimed that they would get in touch with me to get that setup the week after calling me. After not hearing back in a week, I emailed the 2 people involved in the process so far. I got no response at all from either. It has been 1.5 months and counting since they claimed they wanted to set up an in-person interview and the job is still posted on their website.
I was very excited about this opportunity, but I am now pretty disappointed in how I was treated by this company. None of this makes any sense to me, and I definitely expect to be treated a lot better than this company treated me.
If you actually want to setup an in-person interview and claim that you will do so, then be responsible enough to actually do so (that did not happen here). If someone contacts you, then please be responsible enough to contact them back in the future (that did not happen here). If your mind changes for whatever reason, then be responsible enough to notify the applicant that you have decided to no longer pursue them as a candidate for the position (that did not happen here).
