Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en ALDI (Manchester, Inglaterra) en feb 2025
Entrevista
Online application to describe typical interview questions; name a time you delivered excellent customer service, why do you want to work for Aldi etc. Then it was another online pre-recorded video interview of 3 questions. You have time for practice but once you click to answer the questions you get no retakes for the answers. Don’t waffle on! Try and be concise and to the point of the question as you only get about 30 seconds to answer. Questions were; why do you want to work for Aldi, name a time where you gave or received excellent customer service, name a time you had a difficult customer and how you handled it (something along those lines). You can answer the same as you did for the online application. Next day I was invited for a group assessment. This was with 2 other candidates in a group interview by a store manager. We had an icebreaker of introducing ourselves and saying what our favourite Aldi product was. We were then given a written group task of various scenarios, how we would deal with them and how we would rank them in priority. You then discuss this as a group until you come to a collective decision of the order of priority and how it would be handled. This is to see how we work as a team and how we interact and problem solve with each other. There are no right or wrong answers for this! Just go with what you think is right. We were then taken taken into another room individually to speak with the store manager who was really nice and made me very relaxed. It was very conversational and didn’t feel formal at all. She asked what my previous role was like and where I see myself in 5 years, she also asked my availability. Was told I’d get a call in 2-4 days with an answer, and got a call 4 days later with a job offer! Overall very relaxed and smooth interview process.
Had a group online interview and I felt it was very hard to get any point across and it felt very over the top and the process seemed too long for what the job actually was
Started as a group where we were educated on the history and benefits about working at ALDI, and were asked what we think working at ALDI is like. Seemed like a good company with fair pay. The individual interview itself only asked availability.
I was first givwn the opportunity to join a group assessment, which I passed. I was then asked to attend a face-to-face interview, in-store but the manager did not come into work that day and I was asked to rearrange the interview after waiting for over an hour. Another applicant also turned uo and waited 30 minutes after I arrived
