I applied online, then got an email 3 days later inviting me to an Individual Assessment, this was basically a 1-1 interview with the manager, he asked me to introduce myself- what I like doing, where I'm from, what I've done in the past(study wise) he then told me more about the role and then went on to give me a couple of scenario questions, lastly he handed over a sheet with 10 maths questions on it and was given and timed under 5 minutes to complete it. I'm not the best at maths so I completely ruled my chances out after this! The whole thing lasted around 15 minutes and I got an email the next day inviting me to an Aldi Store Experience Day, this is basically a work trial that lasts for 2 hours. You first sign some health and safety questions and then they take you around the shop floor showing you the fire exists and then they get you working on the shop floor. I was put on produce and another lady I was with was put on bread. We were shown how to use pallet trucks. They said they would be in touch in the next few days to tell us whether we had been successful, 2 weeks went by without hearing anything and I gave up hope after this until I got a call from them offering me the job!

Group interview where you had to role-play scenarios about working in the store. Hard to actually get a word in and it was online which made it even more difficult.
Had a group online interview and I felt it was very hard to get any point across and it felt very over the top and the process seemed too long for what the job actually was
Started as a group where we were educated on the history and benefits about working at ALDI, and were asked what we think working at ALDI is like. Seemed like a good company with fair pay. The individual interview itself only asked availability.
