Interviewed through several rounds with recruiter, HR, direct boss, senior management, and circled back to finish with direct boss. Recruiter introduced me to AIG and then followed with discussions after each interview. Recruiter negotiated salary and benefits with HR. Clearly, AIG was cutting cost from the person who was previously contracted for the position so they cut down the title and expatriate benefits.
