I was interviewed in Kitchener by a panel of two people and it was anything but an enjoyable experience, and I had driven a few hours to have the interview. First, I was late being interviewed by almost 15 minutes. When I was finally called for my interview it was very awkward and the room had a very weird and uncomfortable vibe to it. One of the people conducting the interview weren't even actively listening to me and had to ask me to answer things I had already given examples of. This was very insulting and uncomfortable for me... I was maybe asked 5-10 questions over the span of 15 minutes and then the panel concluded the interview. This took me aback because I was expecting it to be a very thorough interview and to be asked of my field experience and to be test on my plant and bird ID capabilities. None of which were asked of me. It was very clear they they were uninterested in me the entire time, and that it was some sort of pity interview. In the future, they should just not waste peoples time since they clearly had no interest in even considering me for the position
